Two Integrated Companies

Afribroiler Limited and Chicken Chaos Limited are registered in Nigeria with the CAC and has three shareholders each. No shareholder has sole majority in any company. Each of the 2 Youth Agripreneur Graduates is also employed as Managing Director  for one of the companies. 

Approach

In Africa small-scale commercial farms are rare whilst they should be the back-bone of the economy. Afribroiler Limited is addressing this by developing a network of small-scale broiler businesses. We started with building a small-scale commercial feed-to-fork reference-farm with feed mill, parent stock, incubation, hatching, growing, processing units for research, training, and franchising. We adopt latest industry innovations, including an agricracker for cutting feed, on-farm hatching, and the use of energy efficient panel brooders. This drastically reduces the energy bills, improve bird-performance and leads to better profits, higher wages and more jobs. 

Scaling & Investment

To grow we need to secure more investment that can benefit others to develop their own businesses in a franchise style to ensure experience and data exchanges for improved performance and competitiveness. Investment through loans and grants are sought in developing a revolving fund that would serve to pre-build business units of graduated "trainees". Rather than giving financial loans they will be able to own and manage such businesses and repay into the revolving fund and add annually a total of 10% of their net-profit to the fund to help other aspirant business owners.
